Mayday | Johnny:
Only if you use it, which I will totally try not to do? I've never liked unfair advantages in things. It's why I quit playing ball in school once the powers showed up. It just didn't seem fair, you know? Besides, using powers in rock-paper-scissors takes all the fun right out of it.
Kind of both? I mean, from what I understand, I don't come from the same timeline as a lot of people here? But, for me, it was time travel in this case. I tried to stop some guy who stole something out of the Baxter building, or maybe it was the museum, do adventures ever get a little hazy for you? Whatever, anyway, yeah. I got thrown back in time. Basically you and my Dad thought I was a spider-imposter. Which I gather was a thing? Or that it wasn't unheard of to see a bunch of them running around sometimes? But yeah. We fought some robots, stopped the badguy, and you sent me home. I never really talked about that -- because how do you even start that conversation? -- but I always got the feeling that you and Papa Spider were buddies?
And you don't owe me anything, unless you want to bring over waffles for waffles and ice cream? And video games? I mean, that's still not owing me anything, but you know, you can come hang out if you want. But not because you have to.
That must get weird? Oh. And he didn't have to tell me stories. I knew. I think he was just worried about making the hero life sound cool. Which it is. But, you know, Dad's worry and stuff.
