As you may all be aware, Memorial Day is next Monday and as part of a team effort, the Avengers and SHIELD will be hosting a Memorial Day barbecue at the Avengers Mansion! Everyone is invited to attend, free of charge. Alongside the traditional hot dogs and hamburgers, vegan/vegetarian alternatives will be available.

Of course a barbecue isn't complete without some good old fashioned fun -- football, dodgeball, and a variety of carnival games are also part of the experience. In addition, we will be hosting a fundraising event in an effort to give back to the community.

I look forward to seeing everyone there, so don't forget to mark May 25th on your calendars!

    Remind me again why someone else couldn't write that? All right, I'm going to need some input here. We have a few different choices on where we want proceeds from the fundraiser to go. I'm primarily interested in offering support to the Free Clinic, Mayday House, or the Potts Tower Youth Center.
