Marlene had been absent minded. The tea had helped but she was still feeling down. This place was fantastic but it wasn't home. Although she didn't want to GO home, she did want to at the same time. She just didn't want to be dead. That was the major downside. Coming here she was instantly out of place - she didn't get to play with all the tech, she was tattoo'd at 17, and she spoke about being able to drink back home with fondness. She missed the crazy life of the Dauntless. New York was crazy but not that crazy.
She honestly felt bad about being in the way of someone but she smiled faintly. "Neither was I, really. Shouldn't have just stopped in the middle of nowhere." she shrugged faintly. "I am actually. Been here two months now and just can't quite get comfortable." she wasn't usually quiet. Marlene loved being AWESOME. But she hadn't felt awesome lately. "I'm Marlene." she offered the girl her hand, trying to be a polite as possible. Which was hard when Marlene's idea of greeting was a running hug and possibly a tackle.
