"Yeah. We have to be 21 to buy alcohol too. Technically our legal age of adulthood is 18 years. Though most people consider someone whose at least 21 to be more adult. At 18 we're still a little immature." Violet laughed softly. She never really gave much thought to adult age, and speaking with Bilbo did add a little perspective. Imaging coming of age in your thirties. It had some sense to it as even most 20 year olds aren't mature. She supposed it was different for everyone and it wasn't a bad thing to have innocence.
Violet enjoyed listening to Bilbo speak about the beginnings of one of her faovurite books. It was quite difficult for her not to give anything away. They had only just met and she wasn't sure she wanted to be the one to tell him about the fictional world.
"Some of the greatest moments in our lives can come from something unexpected." Violet smiled as she looked off to the skyline. "Of course I never had a chance to go off on an adventure with dwarves, but I can say my own story started off by something unexpected." Grinning, she would save the story for another time. While she was sure Bilbo could handle the news of Violet's powers, she was reluctant to share them, at least for the time being. "The Shire, what's it like there? If you don't mind sharing with me, that is."
