Not that I don't love being able to walk into a place and have people shove drinks at me, but I'm starting to think fame is overrated. Is it nice to be appreciated for the things you couldn't really brag about before without getting hunted down by the authorities? Sure. Is it worth being interrupted every twenty minutes so some hyperventilating man in a Trust Me, I'm a Jedi shirt can pump your hand and ask you what Boba Fett's like in person? Probably not.
I had a job with a garage here, but the whole first week I barely got my hands dirty. Yesterday it became pretty damn clear they were just showing me off, so I left. If I want to stand around signing autographs, I can find a street corner. And probably charge.
I'm thinking bicycle courier, next. Much easier to make a run for it.
