While she wan't exactly shaking him, she did have a firm grip on his shoulders. "It's not real. Whatever it is, it's not real. You're here with me." Though she was quite sure that he couldn't hear her any longer, this was the only thing she knew what to do to get him to listen to her. To stop panicking and focus on the sound of her voice. She kept repeating his name over and over again, trying to assure him that it was just her.
Then when she finally saw him actually look at her, she couldn't help but look quite relieved. Her name on his lips only seemed to solidify that fact. "Yes it's me. I'm here. It's not real." The glowing was, but the the things behind the panic were not. Of course she knew better than to think that might help, but there wasn't much else that she could do.
Her arms wrapped around him, fingers running through his hair soothingly. "I know. It's not magic. I'm not sure what it is, but it's not magic. Just breathe. In and out. Nothing's going to hurt you. I promise."
She'd never let anything hurt him again. "Does it hurt?"
