After their nights together, she had found herself staying with Cullen more often than she wasn't. Tonight was no exception. It had been a wonderful couple of days, just spending time with him. Not just him but the others as well. Not exactly in the same capacity of course, but she did venture to spend as much time with them as possible. Together they explored the new world they were in. Some parts were scary and other parts a true delight. Yet every night she came to be with him. She had been up in the kitchen, rooting through drawers and the thing they called the ice box to look for something to eat.
Then the lights went out.
Ellana blinked a bit and looked around. Complete pitch black. She couldn't see a thing. "I'm here. In the kitchen and I .. ow." In her haste, she had stumbled and stubbed her toe on something, she wasn't sure what. Apparently tonight was her night for being hurt instead of him. "Stay there, okay? I'll come to you." She winced though, her foot throbbed quite a bit and she hoped that it wasn't bleeding. Good grief. It took her a moment to right herself before the mark on her hand glowed just faintly enough that she could make her way back over to him.
"I stubbed my toe," she said with a huff. She could barely make it out. "The whole city is dark. I wonder what's going on."
