So far out of everyone she had spoken with, Ellie seemed to be the closest to which she had a significant amount in common with. She trusted Sam Winchester, despite her efforts not to and to remain distant from others. Meeting the archaeologist was something Chloe had been looking forward to if only for the conversations about their own unique discoveries. They certainly had their differences -- Chloe searched for treasure and lost artifacts for money, Ellie instead uncovered and preserved parts of history. There was no doubt in her mind that if Nate were here in this place he would have liked her as well.
It had taken her a few extra minutes to actually reach the book shop as she had ended up on the wrong side of the road, and crossing was a bit of a pain, but nonetheless she had made it. Chloe ordered a tea from the cafe, which gave her time to pick out the other woman from the crowd of mostly-students. Noticing the stack of books made her smirk as she walked over. "I hope you weren't waiting terribly long," the Australian insisted as she pulled out the seat across from Ellie and sat down. In a way, the archaeologist reminded her of Elena -- she was very pretty and had a certain innocence about her. "It's nice to finally meet you in person, and to get out of that tower for a while," she admitted with a more genuine smile. Chloe held back in commenting about the books just yet.
