Hiro didn’t quite smile back at Tadashi even if he wanted to. He knew Tadashi would be okay, and so would everyone else. It was just a matter of time. Now Tadashi needed to hear that from his friends more than from Hiro again. Go Go was here to show him that, and Hiro did manage a small wave in her direction when she had found their room.
They needed time to catch up, and Hiro needed to explain to Baymax what exactly was going on. It was confusing enough for humans – he couldn’t quite predict how Baymax saw their situation.
“Emotions don’t always make sense, Baymax.” Hiro said, hoping that would explain at least some of the confusion. “We’re happy too, but..” he glanced over at Go Go and Tadashi, the way his brother’s face looked maybe hopeful as well as cautious…Baymax could probably read all of that but not know how to classify it. “Kind of takes time to decide what we feel more.”
