“You look like you’re gonna be sick.” In Hiro’s opinion, Tadashi looked like a lot of emotions since they had first seen each other. Happy to see Hiro in the beginning, then miserable the next once he finally knew the story behind why Hiro had clung so fiercely to him that afternoon. It was a strange feeling having Tadashi back, like having some imaginary friend walking next to him. But Tadashi had always been real and Hiro would need time to slowly get used to that again. The time apart hadn’t changed how Hiro felt about his older brother-- he still wanted to be there with him. Maybe a little too much now that he finally could be again.
But what Tadashi wanted or expected from Hiro and their friends after the time apart, Hiro couldn’t say. Did he expect Honey and Go Go to freak out too? Or cry and scream or… not care?
From Tadashi’s right, Hiro gave him a look. Scrutinizing, a little confused, a lot worried. “Tadashi... when you see them, it’ll be a good thing. Probably some more waterworks, but…” He rubbed his own eyes at the memory of just moments earlier. The way both of them had held tight and Hiro alone probably filled a couple of small rivers. “You know... happy tears?”
