Who: Nathan Wuornos & Georgina Kincaid What: maybe investigating her weird date that didn't happen. When: Friday evening, Nov 14 (backdated) Where: Georgina's apt Warnings: TBD, doubtful. But there are spoilers for Haven through yesterday's episode in Nathan's narrative.
This strange blind date didn't seem to have the makings of any sort of scam, but it was unusual, which was enough to pique Nathan's interest. Then again, maybe it was nothing. He wasn't deterred by that possibility; if anything, he actually somewhat relished the idea of a puzzle that wouldn't actually come to anything whether he solved it or not. It was kind of a refreshing prospect, compared to what he had grown accustomed to back in Haven.
And the truth was that regardless of what came of this, it was a much-needed distraction from what he'd learned about what was going on in the future in Haven. A Trouble sickness that had activated other Troubles in those that it had infected. Audrey being genuinely sick instead of having caught the infection that was going around. That was what worried him most, but then there was also the fact that Duke was working with Mara and someone else who wasn't from the CDC was playing some sort of game with Dwight. Neither of those things were likely to end well.
He couldn't do anything about it from here, though. It was better to focus on the present and maybe on something he could potentially solve, and a strange blind date was a better lead than a flash of white light that had happened almost three months ago. Besides, if he was going to commit to being here with Audrey, it was probably about time he got to know the people they were living with and grew accustomed to how things worked around here.
Mulling over all of that, Nathan climbed the steps from the nineteenth floor to the twentieth to meet his upstairs neighbor. Locating her room, he knocked on the door.
