There are four days until I open the tea house. I am thoroughly excited. I look forward to giving all of our residents here, and even those within the city, an authentic tea house experience, as well as a place to come and relax, I know we all need it here. I am pleased that I was given the opportunity to do this. I have included a copy of the menu here for those of you who are curious. Please note that many of the full-meal dishes are seasonal and will change as I am going to follow the practice of only using the freshest, currently available ingredients. Also, please note I can offer the full, traditional tea ceremonies as well as a more relaxed variation for those who do not want the formality but want the meal and tea of the Chaji[茶事].
