First of all, Billy really didn't think it counted as breaking someone out of prison when they were a raccoon and it was more likely that they'd be detained by the SPCA, if anywhere at all. Secondly, after talking to the officers in question and promising that he'd get the phone off of the crazy talking raccoon so it could be returned to it's owner, Billy was permitted to "transport" the animal wherever it was he needed to go. Which, in this case, was another dimension. EARTH-56788, as Billy had decided to categorise it, wasn't much of an earth at all. It was a single lush gully that he'd been carefully rendering to appear less like an animated Pixar movie and more like an actual existing place. It was populated now, there were insects and a few small mammals and, most impressively, a dragon based of Toothless from the Pixar film. He was a bit small, and Kaplan was still a little worried that he'd done everything wrong and the dragon wouldn't get bigger, but other than that he was happy with how his first attempt at building a world had gone. Particularly because he'd built it on accident, and on the fly, when he'd needed a place to send Magneto where he couldn't hurt anyone. He was a bit new to this, this creation of dimensions and worlds but he knew now that he was going to do a lot more of it. That the multiverse was, in a lot of ways, his design. So starting small with a dragon in a gully seemed reasonable, and now it was also doubling to try and explain to Rocket that things had to be different in this world on this earth, because people protesting the refugees was a problem and he really didn't want them to have more reason. The white-blue light faded for Rocket -- hovering in the air -- saw the gully came into view, Billy materializing shortly there after let the anti-gravity bubble containing the not-racoon lower him to the ground. |
