Billy exhaled. He hadn't even realised he'd been holding his breath. He moved closer to Teddy, his hand moving to the side of his boyfriend's face, the side of his neck. He stroked Teddy's cheek with his fingers. He had done so much to Ted. From trying to decide if he'd willed the Kree-Skrull prince into existence, to bringing a creature through to their universe that looked like Altman's mom. Billy's heart might've always been in the right place, but his results weren't always his intentions. He felt guilty, and he wasn't sure if Teddy's acceptance made him feel better, or just worse that he'd kissed Loki at all.
But he smiled gently anyway and leaned closer to his amazing, wonderful, astonishingly incredible boyfriend. "I am the luckiest person in the universe to have you, Teddy. Honest. I don't ever want to do lose you. So I would never, ever do anything to hurt you."
