Had she been a truly bloodthirsty vamp, he certainly would have cared less. But at the moment, she wasn't on his mind at all. Tightening his fingers around Veronica's, he met her eyes, warm and amused and still a little concerned. "And I don't mind when you get... possessive. I just don't like that it upsets you."
He took a deep breath, and nodded. "We keep saying we're going to do it, so we should. Just set the date and go, and let everyone else deal with whatever comes. The same way Caroline and Hank are doing right now."
