"I hope so. I just got these nails done, I'd hate to break one," Veronica joked, holding up her hand. They were short and clean, but that was about all that could be said about Veronica's nails. She was a practical girl, and while she had her girly moments, she preferred to always be a moment away from kicking ass if she needed to. Which was why she also had a stake and Sparky close by too. She didn't trust a lot of these vampires. They weren't all like Angel and Caroline.
"I won't mention a thing, these lips are sealed," she joked, miming locking her lips and tossing the key. She very much doubted that she'd beat Buffy at much but it did make her glow that he thought about it that way. She wanted to show him every day that she could take care of herself.
At his question, Veronica shrugged but had a smile on her face. "Well, let's be honest...the only hunters available at the moment are Jo, and I don't think she's into girls, and Dean, and well..." she trailed off and made a bit of a face to indicate that while she loved his brother, he wasn't really in dating shape at the moment.
She pushed on him at his teasing her about glitter and penguins. "Hey, I'll have you know that my taste is very refined." His other comment, however, made her feel warm and fuzzy again. "It's worth a lot, Sam."
Just then a very silky vampire approached, her eyes settling on Sam. Veronica narrowed hers, not sure what this one wanted or who she was. "Can I HELP you?" she asked, a cold edge to her voice.
