"This is true," she agreed with a nod, unable to wipe the amused smirk from her expression. There weren't a whole lot of irrational fears Chloe had -- to be honest she didn't have a lot of fear in general. Except dying. Mostly in the violent sense, but nonetheless, dying was certainly what she was afraid of and had kept her from continuing jobs in the past. Nate however, was wholly unaffected by the fear of death. In fact sometimes it seemed as though he ran straight toward it. And that made Chloe question who was more foolish, at times.
The treasure hunter grinned almost proudly at Sam's compliment -- which she really was taking in the utmost positive light that he didn't think she would have gotten involved with Sully. "Why thank you," she muttered quickly before taking a bite of her pretzel. Sam's question wasn't an easy one. She wasn't in the same mindset as she had been at the end of the game. She knew it wasn't the last she saw of Nate or any of them, as apparently there was a third game, but trying to predict the gap of time between the two was quite difficult. "Probably had a drink," she shrugged nonchalantly, "found my way back home. Probably didn't get much out of it in terms of rewards so I probably spent a little downtime looking for another heist. Smaller, obviously, and I can almost guaranteed it was a solo job."
Chloe paused before shoving the rest of the pretzel in her mouth and speaking around it. "There's a third game, though. We apparently search for the Atlantis of the Sands. I briefly read about it when I was Googling stuff but didn't really look into it," she explained. "Have you read much or researched your own show any more?"
