Chloe snorted softly with laughter, even after the fact that Sam had confirmed that clowns in his world actually did kill people. It seemed farfetched, but at the same time she knew better -- given their situation as a whole. Still, just the thought of a clown killing someone was just.. ridiculous. And an embarrassing way to go, to be honest. "Alright now killer clowns are entirely justified, I'm rather sure I wouldn't be particularly fond of any Pennywise wannabes, either," she admitted.
Able to make light of the terrible things in their lives was liberating, in a sense. Granted she wasn't going to bring up apocalypses or tinfoil hats just yet, but the point was that they had survived and were now stuck here for whatever reasons. "Oh, I wouldn't be too sure, darling," Chloe insisted with a grin. "You've never seen him at the Moscow Circus..."
She nibbled at one of the pretzels she'd grabbed before continuing. "I assure you nothing would have happened between Sully and I," she assured Sam with a more serious tone, pointing to the television as she referenced the end of the game. "I'm not from that point or whatever but honestly, I would be surprised and disappointed and disgusted in myself if anything did."
