Rebekah paused and only moved her head slightly towards the direction of the voice. She barely looked, but her sight was good enough to see the young girl perched, overlooking the alley. It was rather curious, and she had seen everything. Her mouth opened slightly as she wondered to make of this. In any other world, Rebekah would have easily just compelled the girl to forget what she saw. This world was different. This world knew Rebekah as Rebekah Mikaelson, the vampire. The need for secrecy wasn't as great here as it was back home.
"It was easy. One too many drinks, I imagine. He was weak, and I doubt he'll try anything again." Rebekah's eyes raised towards the girl's last comment. Now she turned to face the speaker before asking, "Oh? Why is that?" Rebekah didn't know the girl, but she was rather curious to know why a young girl would want to set camp in a dark alley in one of the most dangerous cities in the United States.
