So maybe Tommy had been a little impatient. And maybe he should have actually listened to Kate instead of just running ahead. But there were very few things that actually freaked Tommy out, whether he wanted to admit they existed or not. Billy was not acting like himself. While Tommy was not about to say that he cared, that the way his brother was acting worried the hell out of him, he did recognize that whatever was wrong with Billy set his stomach on edge, making his nerves hurt from the effort it took not to just grab him and take him far away from whatever it was that was wrong.
Granted it seemed he sort of got his wish as he skidded to a halt. Not that the cliff would have been any trouble to scale, he could run on water after all this would be no problem. But as he looked up it didn't seem that the cliffs actually truly went anywhere so eventually it would all just be one long drop down. It took him a moment to process. Billy pulled free and Tommy darted from one facing to another, before rounding back to Billy. "Just what the hell is this place?" he asked, genuinely curious. "Did you make this? Are we even on earth?"
He darted to another facing, pressing his hand up against it and frowning. Tommy was not exactly lying that he didn't know what had happened to him while he was in not!Patriot. It was this weird dark gap in his mind that ached to think about. Whether he just didn't remember or his mind simply didn't want him to remember Tommy wasn't exactly eager to find out. "This better not be an alternate dimension." His voice went slightly darker, as much as he intended it to be a joke.
