"Yeah, it is," Lily grinned at him, but she didn't hand it over immediately. "Sev, just you should probably be aware before I hand this over to you, that there's some weird stuff about where we are."
If he accidentally discovered any of the things about his future she had no idea what he would do with that information. He needed to certainly know that information about him was available on the Internet so he wouldn't be startled when and if he stumbled across it. On the other hand if she didn't mention it maybe he wouldn't find it... but it was kind of too late for that now and Lily knew Severus - even at this age he'd had an intellectual curiosity about things and she suspected that it wouldn't take him very long to find a page about him and that could lead to difficulty - more probably if he wasn't expecting it.
"Remember how I said there was this blue box that brought us here to 2014? Well, in this world our stories, bits and pieces about our lives are available to read in books that most of the people here consider to be fictional. So - you may find information about you and your future on the Internet or the Network, and you should try not to be bothered by any of it."
Of course he probably would be though - who wouldn't be? She'd been bothered by her own future enough. "It's a bit odd, and takes some time to get used to," she added. "Anyway, here you are - there are buttons here, this is the Internet, email, messaging..." She went through the various buttons on the home screen briefly giving an explanation of what each could do and then handed it over to him. "You actually have a potions shop, that you run here. I should probably text Harry and let him know you won't be there this morning."
