In all truthfulness, I'm a little too frightened to take myself out of these rooms that I was told are MINE. An entire apartment, just for my use! But it's not a hardship, because there are ever so many books, almost all of them books I've never read! The covers are so colorful and there is a delicious-looking one called "The Graveyard Book" that I plan on reading tonight after dark. Do you suppose it's full of ghost stories and tales to make your skin crawl?
You're very kind, sir, and I do look forward to seeing New York. But -- are you related to Gilbert Blythe? You share the same last name, I see. Are you a cousin? I wasn't aware that he had cousins in New York, but that doesn't matter. But it's not 1877, is it? It's much, much later than that.
