All of mine were there, except for Monty, Happy, Mal, and mayyyyyybe Rhodey.
Pen, Elsa, and Johnny were pretty quiet, just sitting and observing. Well, Johnny probably made funny remarkes from time to time.
Anne, however, spoke up quite a bit. I mean, Avonlea Village Improvement Society alum here, so. She would mention the 13th floor as an area that is used often, not only for residents, but also from time to time by the youth center, when they hold pool parties for the older children. She would also point out that she's been working on a large-container garden since shortly after she arrived, and the produce that is available from that is available to anyone to take and use, as well as the flowers that are growing there.
She would also bring up the concern of people who arrive and who aren't really conversant with this modern world, so maybe having some people volunteer to be mentors to newcomers would be a good thing? Someone to explain how to work washer and dryer, where to go food shopping, even just someone to call if they're homesick would be helpful. Also for some cooking lessons and how to work the appliances in the apartment!
And Anne is ALWAYS willing to volunteer. As is Beverly, and Rhodey. And Penelope. And Johnny, even if he wouldn't speak up about it.
As for building community, Anne is old-fashioned in a big way and thinks that a weekly or bi-weekly community dinner would be a good way to get to know each other and promote fellowship.
