"Override command." Logan's voice came over the loudspeaker, freezing the Danger Room's holograms as they started to reset themselves. He'd been sitting in the control room, watching Storm on the monitors since she's started the scenario. He hadn't liked watching the outcome.
There were certain fights; certain set-ups, they weren't about training or reviewing past mistakes. There were fights that were worth sharpening claws on to get better, to learn and to push onward through whatever hell came next. This wasn't one of them fights. This, from what Logan could tell, wouldn't have even counted as therapy or overcoming something that happened before. It went beyond a guilty conscience. This was self-flagellation, a punishment for sins committed a lifetime ago. And it was worth worrying about, because something had to be wrong if that was where Storm was going back to.
He left the control room and opened the Danger Room doors. She'd probably be mad that he was trying to stop her, but that was fine. Logan was rather her be mad at him than stand-by and let her keep taking out on herself. If she wanted him to leave her alone, he would. He understood. But he wasn't going to do that without at least asking her if he could help: whether that meant talking or chopping up some Marauders, he didn't really care.
