It was kind of funny how situations like theirs made fast confidantes and forged intense relationships. There wasn't anyone that she would have trusted with this. She just hoped that it wasn't an exercise in futility. The idea that she could destroy this world because of something she was carrying terrified her. Not knowing was worse, though. Any second, it could burst out of her chest without any kind of warning to those around her.
Ripley stopped at the door, her hand fisted the shoulder of his shirt. "If they find something..." She didn't think it needed to be said, but she needed to know. "You know what you've got to do. You will do it for me, right?"
