Hicks nodded. "Yeah, Wey-Yu's supermax prison for double-Y chromo criminals." He put his glass down and pulled out a cigarette for himself, lighting it and taking a long drag before continuing. "I don't know much about what happened to you down there. There's... a movie here apparently. I haven't watched it. And the Wey-Yu people talked around me but not about everything."
He frowned down into his glass then drained what was left in it. "I got down to the planet in time to see you die," he said bluntly. "You knew. That you had one of them in you. You must have. They didn't kill you." They meaning the aliens, the prisoners and the Wey-Yu people. He didn't think he needed to be too specific there. "You threw yourself off a platform into a pit of molten metal to make sure the thing inside you didn't get out. Weyland was there. He tried to stop you. I wasn't close enough to hear what he said."
