Sarissa shook her head. "When I tried not to use it, it just built up inside me and finally just...exploded out."
She could see what he was trying to do: help her think of options. She appreciated it, because it meant that he cared, and she hadn't had a lot of that in her life. Unfortunately, none of the options he was suggesting really provided what she wanted, which was a way out.
"It's ok," she said, giving him a small smile. "I say I don't want to go, but I'm coming to terms with it. And I figure that if I'm going to succumb one way or another, I'm going to use my powers towards something good and useful. I'm not going to try to suppress it anymore. That's only going to make it worse anyway."
