Perhaps we all are to a point uncomfortable. Though I'm not scrawny now;)
If I can neutralize mutation with a chemical compound, anyone else could do the same. While I may only be using my research on willing patients, or in fact those who need a cure rather than just want one, it stands to reason it could be utilized on unwilling patients as well. To date, I am the only one who has rejected the compound. I think because of the true nature of my mutation being less about form and more about adaptation to function.
Erik says in our future, they use Raven's blood to enhance robots that hunt mutants and adapt to their powers to neutralize them. That is not what I have done, but I almost wonder if I have not created something more effective since I can turn them off. Since the first compromise of SHIELD I have been trying to find some way to cure my cure as it were, but, that work seems no where near as promising of results soon. In part because I'm hesitant to develop the tools necessary. Have I already drawn too much attention to my work by its existence? I think the risk that I will have an adverse reaction if I continue to use myself is not insignificant, but perhaps it's only fair since I created this situation.
Protecting my research is everything now, but I think I'm past the point where destroying it will save anything.
