"So I say," she agreed, laughing. "And I never say something unless I mean it. You know that better than pretty much anyone." She started to say something else and thought better of it, blushing as she suddenly thought about the memories she had of them together. Of what it felt like to be with Logan. She was very happy with Sam, and naturally that department was excellent, but Logan was the first person she had been with that really-made it something special, especially after...well, all her hang ups about sex. She really didn't want to think about this right now.
She listened and then remembered that she had asked that before, but in the danger and excitement it had gone in one ear and out the other. She exhaled and nodded. "You did beat the shit out of him. He didn't leak it though. It was from a secret fraternity at Hearst that Wallace had been tapped to join. Turns out all the big shots that went to Hearst and were now the rich and powerful had confessed all their dirtiest secrets and stored it all on a computer that belonged to Duncan's father." She looked up at him and shrugged. "At least they did until I made a copy and destroyed it."
She ran a hand through her hair, suddenly feeling self conscious about how she looked after a long shift. "I didn't thank you after you did it. I was so angry with you, that you just went and did that without even thinking. But...I know you did it because you lov-cared about me."
