Muggle mind here brought up the mundane mental image first. Still working on opening it up to everything. It's a tricky one without magic. My work didn't allow for food anywhere in the vicinity so it wasn't my concern. And I like work that engages me. Something I can zone out during? The closest I really have is watching CCTV footage, but it's at fast forward, so you can't afford it then either.
I wouldn't mind something like Priori incantatem with muggles either. And veritaserum beats a lie detector, even if it only tells you what they believe to be true. Do potions have to be ingested? They're made to be consumed, but medicine can be administered intravenously with some tweaking for safe delivery. Sometimes it is even more effective that way, and if someone got that to work with polyjuice potion - how when it's thick as sludge I don't know - one hour wouldn't be enough without a proper search of their person.
Magic must have electromagnetic properties to do that. Technology is built with muggles in mind. No one's had the chance to determine if redesigning the electronics could bypass that problem, at least to some degree. That's not my area of expertise, but I'm surprised no one's jumped at it. That's a major security leak.
How specific does the memory have to be? Can you go with any memory in your library and spend the time reading a book from the shelf? I'm guessing not. You'd have to archive and remember when you read each book. Memory's not like a dvd time stamp, but that sounds like a pain.
They can have tea together and talk about not talking about things. The purist element can shove it up their asses. People are people, not monotonous groups that can be judged off one feature or characteristic. Potions have some variability to them.
