Rose nodded but she did want to remain silent as he continued on. Everything that he had said was all true. She smiled when he told her it was all those things that made him the Doctor. So many wonderful and impossible things that made him one of the greatest people she's ever known. It wasn't a long list, but he was at the top of the list, tied with her mother and father.
What he had said made complete sense to her. Rose had been with the next Doctor and spoken with him, and there was a part of her that saw the same look her Doctor(s) have always given her. A small part wondered if she imagined it, but hearing the Doctor speak now, she felt that ever bit of that was still true. Her eyes closed when their foreheads touched.
"I don't know what to say," she whispered. Her eyes opened and with all the happiness she felt, she smiled. "You're right. Thank you, really. I feel a lot better talking to you about this." Rose lifted her head slightly and kissed the top of his forehead. "Thank you for saying that, I know it's the truth and it's really good to hear."
