Pete smiled and shook his head at the frog fiasco. Although he was telling himself it was best if she slept in her own flat, he relented, a little bit. The wounded baby animal look only went so far with someone like him. That was the likely reason he pointed at Gwen.
"I told you, it's not stupid. And you can stay, just this once," he pointed out, while pointing. "You'll have to get used to the way things are, sooner than later. Hate saying that...but it's the truth of it, petal. It's an adjustment period, of the worst variety."
He fetched a blanket and pillow and then, with a smirk, Pete plop-dropped them down on top of her.
