She had to admit, she felt a little bad (okay, a lot bad, but not bad enough not to want to come inside) once she saw how bleary he was. His sigh made her chew the inside of her lip to keep from crying, which only made her feel like even more of an idiot, but he ordered her in and she gave him a grateful smile.
"It's Dangerous Subdivision, but I'm not here to discuss the newest grindcore band from Chesterfield," she said absently as she made her way inside. Once she could see him properly, she noted the boxers and managed not to erupt into a fit of giggles, though her expression did shift momentarily to bemusement before she remembered her dream and why she was here.
"You might think me stupid, but I had a particularly troublesome dream and I didn't know where else to go. I think the count is after me. I'm not certain, but I'm not sure what else the dream could mean." Gwen knew she was talking fast and making little sense, but she felt like she just had to get everything out. She hardly noticed that she was shaking, only that the room was going a bit blurry as she lost her battle with the tears.
Damn, and now I look like a bloody baby, she thought, turning away from him so she could try and stop them. This was going less well than she'd hoped.
