Right now, C'baoth's current whereabouts are unclear. We need to follow-up on the known locations where he's been spotted over the past 24 hours. Take the coordinates listed below and follow-up with shopkeepers plus anyone else NYPD or SHIELD identified as being on the scene when he was there. We've got footage in some cases, but we need anything... extra... that you can gather. A statement about intention, his current plans, anything that might help us track his current trajectory.

Considering we have official statements, leave your SHIELD badges in your pockets for this one. See what you can find out in an unofficial capacity.

If you happen to stumble across C'baoth, call for back-up. You heard what we said in briefing, but I want to re-emphasize that he delights in controlling people and he's perfectly capable of doing it. He did it on a large scale for Grand Admiral Thrawn in my home reality. So use caution.

As soon as you're feeling up to it - we've watched the footage from C'baoth's arrival, but we would appreciate additional information you can give me that might not have been captured on camera. Anything after he knocked out the power, brief impressions or intuitive sense.

	C'baoth? It's - well, the Emperor could do it. It's used pretty much exclusively by those who can touch the Dark Side of the Force and it's what told me that we were likely dealing with Joruus C'baoth and not Jorus C'baoth. Pretty painful, yeah? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I'm mostly looking for anything that might give us some indication of what he might be trying to do right now. He was pretty obvious there for a while, but the sightings have been more spotty.

So - just, anything that struck you that might not be obvious on security. And there may be nothing, but I'm trying to make certain I've talked to everyone who had any contact with him and that includes all of you.

	I'm not really a... sensitive type when it comes to things like that? And getting hit by lightning does fry the brain a little. If the sightings are coming in slower, he's probably adjusting to his new surroundings. There anywhere in the city that might be more familiar seeming? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Probably and... I'm not certain. He was on Wayland, which was a middle of nowhere planet with somewhat primitive locals. I've been trying to think if that would translate to anywhere local, but I may be over-thinking the entire process. He is likely to want to find a group of people he can control, but to be honest, that's not likely to be as difficult as we'd like to think it might be.

	I think medicals getting sick of seeing me. My wife is a detective with NYPD. If he's pulling people someone will have noticed, even if it's not someone people usually listen to. Maybe see if any of their CIs have heard anything. Easiest targets are the people that wouldn't usually be missed, homeless, addicts. City's crawling with them. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Unstable, yes. Incapable, unfortunately for us - no.

So there's not going to be getting anything from any of them then.

All right, so we're left with whatever security cameras we can go off of and the one where we sent Echo is almost non-existent, thanks to that lightning bolt he sent off.

I'm going to see if I can identify anyone near enough the scene to have heard something, but not be noticed by C'baoth - see if there are any people who might have heard something, but not been tampered with.

In the meantime, why don't you come back and we'll start triangulating locations that might be appealing to him that are within reasonable distance. There's always the possibility that he's commandeered a vehicle, but let's start with what we know he would know, which would be his own feet.

	I'm on my way back, then. There is something else I can try. I don't know how successful it is and it's -- well. It's complicated. It's invasive. But I could start looking for signs of his... interference. Erasing memories leaves a make. A hole, and if I could... trace those. I don't - I can tell you what we experienced with him, what I read in the books when I read those when I first came here. Obviously what's in his wikipedia which we've read already. But - he believes that he's superior to everyone else because he has Force sensitivity. He's not likely to look for a showy battle, or a ruling of the world sort of thing - which, would actually make our job easier if he would.

He's more likely to try to find a place where he can set himself up as a ruler. People he can control... possibly someone with special or unique powers that he can shape.

Maybe that's the angle we need to be taking here - he's not contacted me, but I know that when he became aware of Skywalker, he wanted Skywalker to join him as an apprentice. He wanted Skywalker to learn from him, to shape him as a Jedi. I'm the only Jedi - that we know of on planet, and he's not tried to contact me ~~yet~~.

If he does what he did at Wayland, he's going to try to find a place where he can set himself up as ruler - and he's going to want to find someone like him that he can train. Is it foolishness to assume he might follow that pattern here?

As much as I hate to not cross check it I'd be inclined to say that sending myself or Xavier over there to do so is not much more than a waste of one of our time. I suspect he's tampered so thoroughly it'd be days before we might actually get anything out.

I've already started on Xavier's coordinates, I'll start on yours next, but I'm thinking we just need to start looking at where he might be and checking those locations for signs of him. ~~And hope he hasn't left the cit~~

He likes to feel important. In my world when I dealt with him, he'd literally set himself up as ruler of a group of primitive peoples on the planet he had been quarantined on.

You may have seen Ashley above suggesting cross referencing addicts, and homeless people, people that might go unnoticed otherwise and that might be a good place to start. we still have to figure out where - but Xavier might be able to pull something like that.

Unfortunately for us, it seems he's remembered that manipulating minds is going to attract less attention than if he's using his more flashy Force skills, so apparently this is going to be challenging.

	Important. Would he want to live in luxury? Five star hotels, and the like? The pricier side of town? We should check to see if there's been an influx of transients in the nicer areas you wouldn't normally see them. I can contact some of the local gangs. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
