She gave him an extra squeeze before stepping back and taking a deep breath. A very deep breath. Jo never liked appearing fragile. It ruined her tough chick look after all. But if anyone had a right to think of her as fragile it was Sam and Dean. They got to see her at her best and her worst. That was what family was for, after all. She didn't care that it wasn't exactly HER Sam. Time line differences didn't matter right now. It was still Sam. It wasn't like he didn't know her, so it didn't matter.
Jo tilted her head at him and laughed a bit. "Oh Sam. You can't promise that. But I think I'll accept the fact you and Dean are going to try your best to keep me safe. As much as no one loves to admit it, I am still a Hunter, even if I did go about it with too much headstrong tenacity for my mother's liking. As such I know there are no guarantees." she poked him playfully in the ribs before giving him a grin. "But I do feel safer with you two here, and Cas and it's crazy. But... I know I'll be alright. Just gotta get there."
