Who: Aerrow, Finn, and Stork When: January 7, 2013 Where: 310; Potts Tower What: They've all been here for a bit and, well, it's hard to get use to new places!
The city was huge. No terra could rival it's size and Aerrow was certain that every terra known to Atmos could fit inside the city's lines and limits. He had only ventured out here and there to see what sort of things he could find, but Aerrow had decided to remain in Potts tower after Finn and Stork had arrived. Especially with the newly gathered protestors lingering outside. It didn't exactly make for a welcoming atmosphere.
Their neighbors, at least on one side, were interesting. Stork had insisted they keep an eye on the one with the glasses and dark hair. He seemed to only leave the apartment at night while the red-haired girl came and went as she pleased. There was also a tawny-eyed boy with golden hair like a lion that seemed to make himself known as well. The girl seemed fairly friendly, as did the boy wearing glasses. The other guy, though, who the red-haired girl seemed to practically fawn over when he came knocking, wasn't the nicest person. That was made even clearer with his network posts.
That was neither here nor there, though. It seemed this place, this city, had numerous problems of its own.
Aerrow had previously ventured out to see to the young girl that someone had written about a week ago. He didn't have much money - he didn't have any - but he had crystals. They weren't working as well here as they did back home, but they seemed to have brought a smile to the girl's face. It was a harmless and de-powered crystal. Surely nothing could come from that.
Flipping through the stations of the television, Aerrow had settled on the news. There was more talk about the protest and about this Miranda Martin person who seemed to be in charge of the whole thing. How could people already hate them when most people were just arriving? What were they doing wrong? Weren't they trying to maintain a life under the laws of this world? Aerrow certainly was.
He was still wanting to join SHIELD as well. It was what he did after all. He couldn't just stop being, well, a hero.
Sitting back on the sofa, he finished off the last bit of a red, fizzy drink that he had come to appreciate perhaps more than Finn did his royalty status. Mountain Dew: Code Red. It didn't help him sleep at night, but it certainly was good.
"Maybe we should see how we can help out more, guys. You know? See if we can volunteer our services." Whatever they would be here.
