"Yeah," Sam said, amused. "Get used to that. Dean and I got up to a few of our old tricks at first, and got pulled in by SHIELD for it. They keep pretty close tabs on us. Everyone, I mean, not just us specifically."
There were others that Sam was sure warranted more attention. The vampires from Angel's world-- not Angel himself, but Darla and Drusilla-- were certainly under some kind of observation. But he and his family were... probably a little more worth watching than most of the heroic types, considering they tended to be less, well, felonious. Not all, of course, but many.
He gave a small smile. "That's what I was going to tell you. There's... a point in my future, mine and Dean's, when we're going to find out what happened to your dad. You might want to watch that one before you've actually gotten to it in chronological order."
After a moment, he returned the squeeze and then let go, reaching for his food again instead. He leaned back against the couch, and finally took his first bite. "I guess the, uh... the only thing that you can't find out from that show is what's happened to us here. It's been an interesting year. Thirteen months, actually, for me."
