Who: Jane Rizzoli and Hestia Jones When: 01/03/14 Where: Jane's apartment What: date! Warnings: None anticipated
Jane hummed under her breath, mostly to calm her nerves, as she tried to clean up her apartment a little. She was such a bachelor... she had beer bottles all over the place, dirty clothes, dishes all over the counter, it was just sad. Jane couldn't do much about the dirty clothes, except put them in her hamper, but she could take care of the rest. Music was playing, she was listening to One Republic. She wasn't always a fan of the newer bands, she preferred things from the 70s and 80s, but One Republic was good. She was humming Counting Stars while it was playing as she picked up beer bottles.
There were more in the fridge, Jane wasn't an alcoholic, but she did enjoy beer. And she wasn't sure she could eat a pizza without some in the fridge. She had run the dishwasher, so she was going to put away the clean ones and put in the dirty ones and run it again. She had been working, and she was too tired to take care of these things when she got back home. Jane was really going to have to worry about these kinds of things. Jane knew that if she was going to be someone's girlfriend, she had to keep a clean apartment. Her old apartment tended to get that way, too, without Maura bugging her. Which she happened to do on occasion. Jane didn't even want to think about how dirty it had been when she had gotten shot.
She wanted Hestia to want to come back, and not be disgusted. Plus, Jane didn't want Hestia to know how... how bachelor like she could be on occasion. Well, more than occasion. Jane unloaded the dishwasher, and filled it up again. The pizza was on the way, as was Hestia, she hoped. This, she wanted it to go well. Jane really liked Hestia, and her butterflies were going nuts.
