There was a quip on his tongue about letting Chapel check him out, but instead of saying anything he just gave Pike a bit of a smirk and shook his head, electing to be an adult about playing doctor for maybe once in his life. "Spock helped, actually. After I volunteered to join you up here he offered to help me clear everything. So yeah, it's all finished. I had to argue him on a few student's answers but that was part of the fun."
He gave Pike a smile and ran his thumb along the side of the other man's hand. Anything that wasn't talk about Chris's injuries or the possibility of permanent damage was welcomed. A holiday party at the ranch was something to look forward to and so was going home. He was beginning to feel, even, like New York was his home, even though he hadn't been there all that long.
