Well, I suppose, it's a learning process. I mean, I know you are smart (I googled you) but its just a different set of rules. Castle used to be a huge hindrance - the first case he worked, I handcuffed him to the car because he didn't stay in it like I initially asked at the first crime scene. He had a key in his wallet, unlocked himself and chased the murderer down an alley and was, naturally, held at gunpoint.
There's been other stuff, but he largely learned that he needed to stay away or behind the people with the guns. I'd guess that the first time he was stuck staring down a gun barrel changed him, and while I hate that he had the experience, I'm thankful that it happened because now he is far less likely to do something like corner a guy in an alley. (And of course, next thing you know he'll do just that and make me look ridiculous.) We are still working on not touching things at crime scenes. Sometimes, it's like I'm married to a five year old.
That's alright. Everyone has their moments. I'm probably to protective of him, if I'm honest.
