Who: Rose Tyler & Tenth Doctor What: Talking Where: Their room When: Early Thursday Morning Warnings: Nope
There was no reason as to why Rose was having trouble sleeping, but she would blame it on her dreams. They come from time to time, memories of the Daleks or Cybermen. She was quite all right and used to them by now, but she would have to find something to do so her body could relax again. She tense as her muscles went into the flight or fight mode, but once she realized she wasn't in any danger Rose went to make herself a cup of tea and tried to read something. When that didn't work, she decided to check out some more YouTube videos. Since she was now in the future, the videos were much different from what she remembered in the early years. The videos were innocent at the start, mostly cat videos as they seemed to be the most popular subject for YouTube.
The her curiosity peaked.
She wasn't sure what to expect when she typed in 'Rose Tyler' into the search. A number of videos came up, but it took a while for Rose to even pick one. Some of the video captures where parts of her life that she remembered but she was hesitant to revisit them again. Then she saw another video, it was a picture of her and the Doctor with their backs leaning against one another. The tile was 'Theme of Rose Tyler'. Rose smiled as she never thought that she would have a real theme song. So she clicked on the link.
The piano was lovely. It was soft, like a lullaby. Rose couldn't help but smile when she heard the strings come in, but then something happened. The music didn't seem quite as cheerful as she would have thought. Her mood changed instantly and lowered her head. It was beautiful. Beyond beautiful, it was absolutely perfect. But it was also sad. She couldn't quite explain but there were bits that made her heart ache. Warm tears filled her eyes, but she didn't bother to try and wipe them away. The song told a story, and while that story had exciting and happy times she could hear the sadness and the longing in the music.
