Who: Dazzler
What: Arrival Narrative
When: before her network post, 9/18
Why: Because Tesseract is Fun
Rating: Eh, not high except for mentions of her being dead first?
The Tesseract did it's thing. Then dropped an unconscious form on the floor. The team rushed to check for a pulse and found none. That was weird. And a first. People generally didn't arrive via the Tesseract after death, unless they were a ghost, generally they popped in a second before they died. Not her. Not today. Nope. Alison Blaire, aka Dazzler, landed with a thump and was dead. Until they got her on a gurney and started wheeling her off to the med lab. Hooked up to monitors with readings showing, yep dead, then BAM, a heart beat. A few moments later, breathing. Then she sat up and looked around, bright eyes sparkling. "Well THAT was fun." she said as they all started poking and prodding her, trying to figure out what happened. Then she looked around. "Woah. This is not where I was ten minutes ago." she pulled a lock of blonde out of her eyes. "What's going on? where am I? Where's the rather evil version of Jean? I am so kicking her ass for this." she rubbed her head and stretched before being asked to stay put long enough for them to run a few tests. She bore them with patience, something she's not entirely good at.
She yawned as she had an MRI done, a CAT scan, a few tests she had no idea what they were about, blood work and an EKG. She did her best not to get bored but there wasn't much to do until they came back with her chart and declared her alive and well. "I knew that." she snarked in reply as she wrinkled her nose at them. "Can I go? I got the whole story from this kid over here" gesturing to one of guys in a lab coat. "Alternate reality, 2013, lots of people here, sounds like every other random misadventure I get sucked into." she waved her hand idly. "I have an apartment free of rent? I mean, who could argue THAT?" she asked as she hopped off the table. "Am I good to go, then?" she asked, twirling the phone they gave her in her fingers, and tapping her foot idly. "Fantastic!" she replied when they said yes. A little display of happy sparkles in the air was what they were left with as she headed out, was shown her apartment and sat down to browse this network. Fascinating!
As she walked she smiled a bit, this was a new place. She always liked the ability to start over. And this place? Would have no idea what hit it once she started.
