So, cleaning up dog shit off your carpet equals NOT FUN. I had to punish her, and it was hard, she's so cute. But I did it. Hopefully she won't go to the bathroom again in the apartment.

	FTR, punishing a dog is not the right way to get them to not shit on your carpet. Taking them out on a regular basis is. They aren't doing it to spite you. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Puppies that young need time to be house trained. She's not old enough to hold it for long, definitely not all day, so I'll bet she just really had to go. She's going to make messes no matter how much you punish her just because she can't help it. Just like having a baby. Their muscles aren't trained like ours are. What kind of dog? I have a bulldog.
