Who: Oliver Queen and Chloe Sullivan What: Contemplating vigilante things. Where: Oliver's apartment. When: Wednesday night. Rating: TBD. Status: In progress/Incomplete
Oliver hadn't cooked in a long time. Fortunately it wasn't a skill one tended to forget once they'd picked it up. And he'd had the foresight to actually buy some groceries before today so he actually had food to cook. He wasn't sure how he'd managed to wind up in a single apartment, but he was glad he had. Before he'd needed it because of his secret identity. That wasn't an issue here in New York, in this dimension. In fact nearly every time he went out, someone on the street stopped him and told him thanks for his hard work as Green Arrow.
It was really, really weird.
But it spurred his desire to pick back up the archery and vigilante gig because as much as he assumed SHIELD was doing, no one could save everyone. It just wasn't possible. Not even for Clark and the guy had super speed, super strength and was almost invincible. The thought of Clark made him think of his last conversation with Chloe and he sighed softly. He knew that the Clark in her world was evil and had killed a lot of people and while that was still hard for him to wrap his brain around, he knew just from their brief conversation that Chloe was pretty traumatized. She might never admit it, but the way she was so shut down, so blank, told the story all by itself.
He heard the knock on his door and headed toward it.
