Albus picked up on that barest of hesitation before Agent Hill said the word wizard and he managed to refrain from chuckling. He'd heard it before when he went to speak to the parents of new Muggleborn students. Invariably the hesitation was the result of that last vestige of disbelief, that moment when they couldn't believe they were using the word for anything other than a fairy story. Sometimes, though, the hesitation was a result of disdain or disbelief or even outright rejection, though those cases were thankfully quite rare. Parents might not be thrilled with the idea of their child being a witch or wizard but they mostly wanted the best for their child.
"I do indeed have some abilities along those lines," he said amiably. "Though I'm not usually one to blow my own horn." He chuckled and his eyes twinkled. "Especially after feeling like such a fumble-fingers with all your delightful technology. But that's beside the point. How can a mere wizard such as myself be of assistance to SHIELD?"
