Well, it seemed Peggy Carter took me dancing at The Jazz Gallery at 290 Hudson, despite the fact I all but insisted I hadn't worn the right shoes -- and we finished the night at Brandy's Piano Bar -- open mic for a bit and while I haven't actually played since Basil's in something like a hundred years, it was rather harder to forget than I imagined. I enjoyed myself, anyway, and I'm quite sure Carter did too., but I imagine she'll speak for herself.
Of course, the music I can remember by heart doesn't really have a place in New York city night clubs today, but there was sheet music, and Carter is a darling page turner. I thinkwe made outall right.
