Jenny had been escorted to her apartment, given the technology to play with and generally been left alone. Thrown to the wolves that is New York City. Jenny had spent a good ten minutes staring out her window and looking down on the city. It was a beautiful city, she couldn't argue that, but she didn't feel right here. She had issues in Sunnydale - she was so used to the country side of Romania that while she could adapt, and live, in cities, she didn't love it.
But she was here. And tomorrow she'd be here. But soon Giles would be here. To her it hadn't been all that long since she'd seen him, but they hadn't been cozy close - things had gotten rocky thanks to her work over Angel.... but she had felt awful about what happened, and had been trying hard to fix it. And when he had told her, over the network, that the spell had worked, she was elated. She knew she could do it.
Jenny jumped slightly when he knocked on the door. She had been so lost in thought she hadn't been ready for it. She set the phone aside and padded to the door. She laid her head on it for a moment, collecting herself, before pulling it open to greet him. "Goodness, Rupert, did you forget the kitchen sink?" she asked with a warm smile seeing his arms laden with stuff and things.
Then she spotted the roses in the mix and she grew a little misty eyed (she wasn't going to lie, it was crazy sweet of him) and reached to help take things from him so that he wasn't so overburdened.
