GOB couldn't believe his luck. A significantly younger, hot blonde had agreed to go sailing. And here he was thinking that this place was a literal nightmare. Well, there WAS the fact that no one seemed to like his magic, his ex-roommate and his protege had threatened to kill him on more than one occasion, it was filled with vampires that he was pretty sure tried to seduce him to drink his blood (worth it), and of all the people from his family that could be stuck here with him, it had to be his *beep*ing mother. Okay, this place had been awful. But for all that, there had been some decent people. He chose to forget the implication of the drunken whatever he had with TJ and focus on the fact that he was fun to joke around with, and several other people had been nice enough. He felt even more poor here than he did when the company was first under suspicion but, of course, at least now he had more practice.
He'd found a few friends in the yacht club, one of whom was perfectly happy to lend him his boat for the afternoon so long as GOB agreed to perform some tricks. Normally he would have adamantly corrected him, but, the term was pretty aptly applied in this case. Whatever, cross that bridge when he came to it. He didn't take any particular care in dressing. GOB was a pretty attractive fellow and he knew it, and more importantly, he wasn't going sailing with any sort of expectation. Either she was into him or she wasn't, and sailing was fun even if the chick didn't take to his advances. Plus, she was Rapunzel. He always had a thing for long hair, even if his ex-wife had had short hair. I mean, he only married her on a dare. Damn seals.
He arrived at the lobby and paused for a second when he saw her. Damn, that was a LOT of hair.
"Well, hello there," he said as he approached, smiling as only GOB could.
