Jess reached over with her left arm to smack him on his shoulder for that smirk which... was a big mistake. Perhaps she just was far to used to hitting someone with that arm when her right hand was occupied by a drink, but it seemed she had forgotten that her left arm was the one that had been bruised the most. This time, she winced openly on instinct. The smack was barely a much of a touch anyway. "Okay, that was stupid. But I have great taste in drinks, mind you."
She placed her drink back on the coaster and rubbed her shoulder. "You can go find out yourself. Although from what I've seen in the news about what happened here last year, I have a feeling they're wishing they had more of us come through back then than now."
