Remy LeBeau was a married man. "Was, was, she couldn't want you after what you did," he was pacing. There was a part of Remy most didn't see, the part of him that worried and over analyzed things. The part of him that he was supposed to suppress because a good thief, a strong man, didn't get his head in a mess over things like this. But Remy had never faced such a situation before. No, there wasn't any background he could look into about his future with this girl, but it was becoming clearer and clearer that Rogue was someone he was involved with romantically. What if he didn't like her? That seemed silly though because every time he spoke to her, regardless of which one it was, he seemed to enjoy her attitude immensely. She was southern, he knew that, and boy he loved himself those southern girls! So what was he worrying about? Oh. Right. Still being married... did she know him when he was married? Remy sighed and picked up the six pack of beers as the elevator brought him to her floor. Moments later he was knocking on her door and leaning against the doorway. God damnit and his heart was pounding. |
